Another great birthday party celebration! Grandma's and Auntie Phuong's birthdays are in March. Sarah was actually eating Fosselman's vanilla ice cream, she passed on the carrot cake. Guess who was missing from the family picture.....Darren was camera shy all of a sudden. Go figure!
Hi! I have decided to move our family blog to blogspot due to accessibility. Our family includes Doug (Father and Husband), Darren (Older Brother and Son), Sarah (Younger Sister and Daughter) and me Yen (Mother and Wife). We also have another blog site www.daisy77.multiply.com.

Kidspace Museum Free Family Night
First Tuesday of the month is a free family night at Kidspace Museum in Pasadena. Darren and Sarah had a workout climbing the Raindrop Glass Climber (40 feet high), just don't look down. Actually Sarah climbed up by herself with Daddy on the side for occasional help, Darren was hesitant at first. The kids were looking at the insect and seashell exhibits, Darren was the scaredy cat as always. Sarah was pointing at all the cockroaches, scorpions, tarantulas etc. Kidspace has something for any kid, there's even a indoor room for young toddlers to play. Just check out their website www.kidspacemuseum.org

Sarah's Park Outing
Sunny Days
For the last 2 weeks, it has been gloomy or rainy. Darren and Sarah were sick so we pretty much stayed home. Yesterday it was sunny so we went to the Grove at Farmer's market. Darren had the entire Haagen Dazs (very expensive $5.60) ice cream by himself, not sharing at all. He has been deprived at home. Sarah ate the peach Jello, I'm guessing she didn't like the mint and chip ice cream flavor. Doug missed the Lakers vs. Mavericks game (really good game) but I am sure he appreciates the family time more. Plus he bought a pair of Gap jeans ($7.55) and a Banana Republic sweater ($10) with his gift cards. What a bargain shopper!
